Ingredients:
- 4 cups (0.95 l) of milk
- 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil
- A pinch of baking soda
Instructions:
-
In a large mixing bowl, combine the milk, flour, sugar, eggs, salt, and sunflower oil. Whisk the mixture until all the ingredients are well combined, and the batter is smooth.
-
Allow the batter to rest for about 10–15 minutes. This will help the flour hydrate and create a smoother texture for the crêpes.
-
After the resting time, give the batter a quick stir. If it has thickened too much, you can add a splash of milk to thin it out slightly.
-
Heat a non-stick skillet or crêpe pan over medium heat. Lightly grease the surface with a small amount of oil or cooking spray.
-
Pour a baleful (approximately 1/4 cup) of the crêpe batter onto the heated pan. Tilt and rotate the pan to spread the batter evenly, creating a thin, round crêpe.
-
Cook the crêpe for about 1–2 minutes, or until the edges start to turn golden brown. Use a spatula to carefully flip the crêpe and cook for an additional 30 seconds to 1 minute on the other side.
-
Remove the cooked crêpe from the pan and transfer it to a plate. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, adding a little oil to the pan as needed to prevent sticking.
-
If you'd like to make a large batch of crêpes, you can stack the cooked crêpes on top of each other with a sheet of parchment paper in between to prevent sticking.
-
Serve the crêpes warm with your choice of fillings and toppings, such as fresh fruit, whipped cream, chocolate spread, or maple syrup.
Enjoy your delicious homemade crêpes!
