for recipesIngredients:

  • 4 cups (0.95 l) of milk
  • 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil
  • A pinch of baking soda

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the milk, flour, sugar, eggs, salt, and sunflower oil. Whisk the mixture until all the ingredients are well combined, and the batter is smooth.

  2. Allow the batter to rest for about 10–15 minutes. This will help the flour hydrate and create a smoother texture for the crêpes.

  3. After the resting time, give the batter a quick stir. If it has thickened too much, you can add a splash of milk to thin it out slightly.

  4. Heat a non-stick skillet or crêpe pan over medium heat. Lightly grease the surface with a small amount of oil or cooking spray.

  5. Pour a baleful (approximately 1/4 cup) of the crêpe batter onto the heated pan. Tilt and rotate the pan to spread the batter evenly, creating a thin, round crêpe.

  6. Cook the crêpe for about 1–2 minutes, or until the edges start to turn golden brown. Use a spatula to carefully flip the crêpe and cook for an additional 30 seconds to 1 minute on the other side.

  7. Remove the cooked crêpe from the pan and transfer it to a plate. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, adding a little oil to the pan as needed to prevent sticking.

  8. If you'd like to make a large batch of crêpes, you can stack the cooked crêpes on top of each other with a sheet of parchment paper in between to prevent sticking.

  9. Serve the crêpes warm with your choice of fillings and toppings, such as fresh fruit, whipped cream, chocolate spread, or maple syrup.

Enjoy your delicious homemade crêpes!
