Choc_truffle pizza
Ingredients:
* 1 quantity Traditional Pizza Dough, made up to end of step 3
Topping:
* 1 quantity Custard Topping
* 90 g (3 oz) plain chocolate, melted
* 250 g (8 oz) plain sponge cake crumbs
* 1 tablespoon apricot jam
* 90 g (3 oz) white chocolate, melted
* 60 g (2 oz / 1/2 cup) finely chopped almonds
* white chocolate curls, to decorate
1. Preheat oven to 220C (425F/Gas 7). Bake dough in the oven for 20 minutes until golden. Cool.
2. Meanwhile, make topping. In a bowl, combine custard and melted dark chocolate. Chill until firm.
3. Make truffles, combine cake crumbs, jam and white chocolate in a bowl until a stiff paste is formed. Divide mixture into small balls and roll in the chopped almonds to coat.
4. To assemble pizza, spread chocolate-flavoured custard on top of pizza and arrange truffles around the edge. Sprinkle with white chocolate curls.
