* 350g (12 oz) ribbon noodles
* 50g (2 oz) Stork margarine
* 75ml (3 fl oz) double cream
* 125g (4 oz) ham, chopped
* 125g (4 oz) Cheddar cheese, finely grated
* 1 x 15ml spoon (1 tablespoon) basil
* Salt and black pepper

1. Cook the noodles in plenty of boiling salted water for about 12 minutes until cooked.
2. Drain in a colander, return to pan and stir in remaining ingredients until every strand is thoroughly coated. Season well.
3. Turn onto a hot dish and serve immediately.
