Meatballs--spaghettiIngredients:
* slice bread, crusts removed
* 1 onion, very finely chopped
* 1 clove garlic, crushed
* 500g (1lb) ground beef
* 3 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
* salt and pepper
* 3 teaspoons vegetable oil
* 1 quantity Tomato Sauce
* 375 g (12 oz) spaghetti
* 60g (2oz / 1/2 cup) grated parmesan cheese
* sprigs of basil, to garnish

1. Soak bread in a little water. Squeeze dry and crumble into a bowl. Add nion, garlic, beef and parsley, salt and pepper. Mix well. Shape into 2.5 cm (1 in) balls. In a frying pan, heat oil. Add meatballs and cook for 10 minutes until brown all over. Add tomato sauce and heat through.
2. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti until tender, Drain well and pour into a heated serving dish. Pour over meatballs and sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, garnish with sprigs of basil and serve.
