* 4 large onions
* 125g (4 oz) Cheddar cheese, grated
* 25g (1 oz) white or wholemeal breadcrumbs
* 1 x 2.5ml spoon (1/2 teaspoon) salt
* 1 x 2.5ml spoon (1/2 teaspoon) mixed herbs
* 1 x 5ml spoon (1 teaspoon) made mustard
* Pepper

OVEN: Pre-heat to moderately hot (190oC, 375oF, Gas No.5)
SHELF: Middle
1. Peel onions. Place in saucepan of cold water. Bring to boil, cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes.
2. Scoop out insides of cooked onions and finely chop. Mix with the remaining ingredients.
3. Fill each onion with the cheese mixture. Place in an ovenproof dish.
4. Bake for 30-40 minutes. Serve with Fish Cakes or grilled fish.
